How the Aion 2 Rift Timer Schedule Works
Rifts are Aion 2's cross-faction PvP window. Know the three rules before you portal-jump.
10-minute entry window
A portal only lets players in for 10 minutes after it spawns. Miss the window and you wait 3 hours for the next rift.
1 hour inside
Once through, the event runs a full hour: open-world PvP against the enemy faction, Sealed Dungeons, rift quests and Abyss Points.
240 players per portal
Portals cap at 240 entrants. When one fills, extras spawn elsewhere in the zone — reroute instead of queueing.
Aion 2 Rift Timer survival tips
- Accept all 7 region quests before entering — they only complete inside enemy territory.
- Plant your own Kibelisk in a safe corner first; dying without one sends you all the way home.
- Never fight near an enemy Kibelisk — its guardian one-shots intruders.
- Rally your group 5 minutes early; popular portals fill within the entry window.
